During the zinc dipping process, the intense reaction creates high volumes of dense white smoke (zinc fume containing zinc oxide and ammonium chloride dust). Managing this blast of smoke is critical for environmental auditing, workplace safety, and reclaiming valuable zinc dust.

4-Stage Core Engineered Architecture


Our system handles zinc smoke through a heavy-duty, meticulously balanced air-handling network:


1. High-Volume Zinc Fume Fixed Hood 


Positioned directly over the zinc pot zone, our heavy-duty fixed enclosure acts as the first line of defense. Engineered with aerodynamic thermal-buoyancy tracking, it seals off the immediate dipping environment, blocking hot zinc smoke from dispersing into the wider workshop during high-production cycles.


2. Multi-Point Floor Suction System 


Heavy zinc dust particles and stray fumes often sink or drift near the floor. Resense integrates low-level, high-velocity floor suction grids around the kettle perimeter. Working in perfect harmony with the overhead fixed hood, it creates a vertical air curtain that completely traps escaping fumes.


3. Balanced Exhaust Ductwork Network 


Collected smoke is routed through a precisely calculated industrial duct network. Our engineers use computational fluid dynamics (CFD) to size the pipes and angles perfectly, maintaining an optimal internal velocity that prevents heavy zinc dust from settling and clogging inside the pipelines.


4. Advanced External Baghouse Filter System 


The heart of the filtration process is our heavy-duty, outdoor-mounted pulse-jet baghouse collector. Utilizing specialized, high-temperature, anti-static, and anti-caking filter media, it separates micro-fine zinc dust from the air stream with 99.9% filtration efficiency, discharging nothing but pure, clean air.


 Key Features & Technologies


  • Anti-Caking Media Technology: Zinc fume is notoriously sticky and prone to clogging bags. Resense incorporates a pre-coating chemical mechanism or specialized membrane bags that prevent moisture/dust caking, ensuring stable static pressure and prolonged filter bag lifespan.

  • Smart VFD Air Balancing: Integrated with the main line PLC, the heavy-duty centrifugal fan automatically ramps up to maximum extraction volume exactly when the crane dips steel into the zinc pot, and throttles down during idling to save massive amounts of electricity.

  • Valuable Zinc Dust Reclamation: The collected dry zinc oxide powder in the outdoor baghouse hopper can be easily discharged and sold or recycled, turning an environmental requirement into an added revenue stream.
